Hiya!
Good to have a site like doom9.org, coz these things we do, are really complicated ;) Well let's get to the point..
First the software:
* Windows 2000
* DoItFast4U! v1.1.0.0c
* DVD Decrypter 3.1.4.0
* Daemon-Tools 3.23
* VobSub 2.18 -AND- VobSub 2.23 (tried both separately)
My problem is with demuxing subtitles. With DIF4U I only get Swedish and Danish subs out of four. Finnish and Norwegian subs are missing in the .BMP subs dir after DIF4U has completed it's tasks. I have followed the doom9 DIF4U&DoCCE4U guide to the letter. Before that, I was using UberGuide, I had the same problem with UberGuide too (understandable because the first steps are the same on both guides).
I proceeded to try demuxing the subtitles with SubRip 1.14 beta from the DVD image .ISO, and after each processed VOB, SubRip claims the .ISO to be crypted. Anyway SubRip gets the job done - all subs extracted as .BMPs. Still I'm puzzled with the dialog stating the vobs are crypted..
Next what I tried is Copy & Paste all files from the mounted .ISO to my hdd, and then run SubRip on the files again. This time there were no "vobs may be crypted"-dialogs or anything, it was smooth sailing - all subs extracted fine.
Now.. I'm wondering am I doing something wrong when making the .ISO image with DVD Decrypter, since SubRip claims it's crypted.. AND is that the reason why DIF4U is having trouble with the finnish & norwegian subs?
