I'm trying to strip IFO's like in your guide
For my example I have the following:
vts_01 extras
vts_02 main movie
vts_03 more extras and trailers
First question: I always get MORE than five files after stripping. VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.BUP/VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS_0x_0.IFO/VTS_0x_0.BUP/VTS_0x_0.VOB/VTS_0x_1.VOB etc Do I move ALL of them and replace? Or do I move just the five you mention?
Second question: After doing the first stripping, and replacing the ORIGINAL VIDEO_TS and VIDEO_TS.BUP etc, when I do the NEXT stripping, (example vts_01 was first, now I want to do vts_03), do I just AGAIN replace the "changed" VIDEO_TS files from vts_01 with the new ones from vts_03? The originals are sitting in a different folder for safe keeping of course. Does IFOedit just use the changed ones (vts_01) when it creates the new ones for vts_03?
Thanks

1. you will always get 4 files
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
then you will get at least one VTS_01_x.VOB, and you may get more depending on size so just transfer them all across and shift all the original IFO/BUP/VOB's
2.the VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP from the NEXT stripping are actually modded versions of the 'changed' ones from the 1ST stripping so that's why you strip one VTSxxxx.VOB (titleset) at a time and transfer the files over each time
you should also check it's all ok after EACH strip and if it ain't you can always go back one strip cos like you are doing, it's best you keep backups of each strip until you know it's ok. If you don't you gotta start it all again :(
although I have never normally done it since day 1, I suggest you do a GET VTS Sectors (backup all IFO/BUP's 1st) after you have finished stripping and you will notice a few changes
it's never affected me as it's normally ok after it's been through IC or DVD95Copy anyway cos these sort it out but it's probably better to do it after stripping also
p.s. how did you change thread title?

The user that started the thread can edit/change the post subject title anytime.

that's why I'm surprised cos when I have tried it never does :)

is it better to do a Get VTS Sectors after cropping the crap before feeding it for processing?
cheers
:EDIT: now it does change thread titles

You guys are funny LOL :)
Thx Mister X
That was the exact answer I was looking for, just one more thing...u didn't mention the VIDEO_TS.VOB. I suppose it should be replaced also eh?

Swede recently changed the code, it used to allow only 5 minutes to change the thread title by changing the first post title (after which only mods could edit the title). Now it's a year.
