first :In first preparation section You are supposed to do:
"Then also go into the Integrate with DoCCE4U after Completion menu and check both options."
And in DoCCE4U :
"Before pressing the start button (which incidentally looks like a play button) we have to do one last thing: In order for our chapters to be at the exact same position as on the original DVD we have to force an I frame at those positions."
Well, when I rund DIF4U it automatically starts the encoding in DoCCE4U, so there gives no opportunity to do that step.
And finally. I only used 3 of all subtitles, and they get īmarked Subpiture 1 2 and 3.
Only Subpicture 1 works. Should'nt ifoupdate fix this? Or is there manually work required?

Ola

well.. there's a little problem in the guide as you realized. The thing is, there are many little things and I'm just waiting for the next official release to do a new revision of the guide. There's also the thing with the cce chapter file loading (is done automatically when you have dvd dec properly set up, or use a new version of dif4u), subtitle and audio track indications are different, etc.
Don't know about your subs though... seems your scenarist project has some issues. There's a subtitle preview in Scenarist.. use it on subtitle track 2 and 3 and make sure the subs are there (or in the track editor, your first thing to do is make sure that there are 3 subtitle tracks all containing subs).

ok, thanks for info. good to know that I'm not missing something elementary. The chapter stuff seems to work anyway after importing them in Scenarist.

I have checked my project, and the subtitles are there,
but since I have placed them as Sub 1 2 and 3,
and the rest of the 19 is left out,
I get sub 1 = english, that is correct
sub 2 says Dutch in menu, but is in fact my swedish subtitle and so on. Doesn't ifoupdate fix this? Or should I in Scenarist place them as sub 1, sub7 and sub 13 for example? (is that possible by the way?)

Ola

no, ifoupdate can't fix that. How should ifoupdate know which subtitle streams you kept? What you can do though is have ifoupdate take the info from your scenarist file by checking "copy audio and subtitle table". But then you have to make sure you set all the correct languages in Scenarist.

you can change the order of the subs the same way you change the order of the audio described in the guide with ifoedit

Wait so what is the deal with the Chapters? I'm using DoCCE48 1.0.0.9 and the newest DIF4U and as said earlier it just starts encoding, so did it get the chapter points? in the 'Chapter List File' it has no file loaded, so I assume it has not loaded it, I'm confused on how to get this to work, also I used reauthorist for the last 2 movies and I don't think it loaded it either?

@skoal: If you use the latest dif4u (even the first beta after the last final release should be okay), dif4u will force dvd decrypter to output a cce chapter file, and dif4u will automatically load it without manual interaction. The final release doesn't check whether dvd decrypter writes that chapter file, so if you haven't checked that option in dvd decrypter manually you won't get a chapter file, and if you're automatically having dc4u started you won't have those chapterpoints set. dc4u automatically loads chapter cce chapter files if they're available. If in doubt. go to the dvd decrypter settings, ifo mode, and check if "Chapter Information - CCE" is checked.

Note: Sorry about that, the registry function had a typo in it, and then Light_UK changed the reg key on me in 3.1.5.0 unexpectedly! I plan on rlsing a new 'final' the same day that Reauthorist goes public, just so everyone will be on the same page.
