"This disc won't play" message

Just received a copy of a Pink Floyd concert on DVD-R from Poland. It plays fine on my PC DVD player/recorder but won't play on any of my 3 Panasonic home DVD players. I get a "this type of disc cannot be played" error on all 3 players. I'm in the USA and I believe these are NTSC discs (but not positive!)

If I rip the disc into iso or vob files and re-burn them will that make any difference? DVD Decrypter shows all regions, no copy protection on the disc. Had the same problem with another DVD and I re-burned from an iso image but got the same annoying "this type of disc cannot be played" message. All my other recordings on DVD-R that I have made, play fine on everything.

Is there something within the actual files that may be messing things up?

I'd go buy a $60 Apex and see if it plays on that to rule out disc issues.. then if it does you know its just your players and you can keep the Apex or take it back.

Switch my program to IFO mode. What does it say for 'RCE Protection' ?

Make sure you look at it in 3.1.5.0
