SVCD with Subtitles

I tried to compile a SVCD from AVI Source with an external Subtitle file. It all went good and i got two Bin files. But when i burned them out there was no subtitles and the sound was a little late...

I used DVD2SVCD 1.1.3. Build 2
Encoder: TMPGenc 2.5 plus
Rate Control Mode: Constant Bitrate (CBR)
Movie Offset seconds: 2
CD Overlap Seconds: 2

So the question is...
Where is my subtitles and why is the sound late?
