Avi2SVCD or TVOut

Hi! This is my first post in this forum.

I would like to know what type of method gives the best quality results in an widescreen tv :
1 - Seeing a diX movie with a graphic card with TVOut and link it to TV

or

2 - Convert the avi to SVCD and watch it with the dvd player.

My TV doesnt have an S-Video input so i would have to use a cable to link it to th rgb input of my TV.

I suggest you post this in the General forum and watch the word "Best" as forum rules specifically forbid these types of subjective questions.
