Pros
Interface very similar to Maestro
Will more than likely be cheaper than Maestro was...
Properly licensed technology from MPEG-LA
Wizard interface for many actions

Cons
While it will let you import non-standard video resolutions (i.e. SVCD) for DVD, it will not let you import non-standard audio sample rates, which to me doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

This of course, is from my very limited experience mucking around with it...Anyone else?

Pros
Interface not similar to Maestro :D (seriously, great UI)
Cheap and even a upcoming Pro version for the price difference
Filling the gap that e.g. Spruce Up left and will probably be better
Many wizards, intuitive UI and a great help file
Programmer is really taking into account the user requests

Cons
New, therefore quite some bugs and some annoyances

If there would not be some bugs/missing features I would, already, bought it. Especially the missing international fonts issue is bugging me (and, of course, the authoring related issues/bugs).

You can find 2-3 more threads in this very forum... If you're really interested be sure to post in the request thread on the official board.

Cheers,

Mijo.
