I see that the Divx5 guide still advises to make a compressibility check. It was updated this month, so I assume it is updated for Divx 5.0.3, however I have been unable to complete a compressibility check since I upgraded to 5.0.3

GorianKnot reports: Unknown Error: Compressibility Check Failed

I have read here of some manual ways to do compressibility checks, but no clear indication that it no longer works. Should I be trying to make it work or skip the compressibility check?

Codec Divx5 Pro 5.0.3
Gordian Knot .026 beta

Had no problems with 5.0.2

GordianKnot 0.26 doesn't work with DivX 5.03. You have to use Gordian Knot 0.28 Alpha 13 (perhaps there is a newer version, cause they update it nearly every day) http://gordianknot.sourceforge.net

Hi-

You can also do a compress test by using jonny's Enc. You can find more information Here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50714).
