My Intervideo AC3 codec won`t save the settings what i set up... It allways start with mono sound & with no vocal... I open the movie, change the settings, after that i restart my Media Player (or BSplayer) and all the things come back to they defaults! How can i fix the default settings?
P.S. Sorry for my crazy English :D

I had almost the same problem, it never used spdif as the default,
just stereo or dolby surround.
Well, found this a couple of days ago.
Iviaudio saves the speaker settings in the registry.
If you modify them, it will remember them correctly.
(I am using iviaudio.ax which is 577.536 bytes large).
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\InterVideo\Common\AudioDec]
"AUDIO"=dword:00000006
00000006 = spdif out
00000005 = 5.1 speakers
00000004 = 4 speakers
Edit the registry by yourself or use the attached .reg file (winxp).
Can be edited with any texteditor (notepad.exe). Change the dword
to match your speakers, save the file, start it and select "yes, append to registry" (or something like that).
Worked fine for me :)

WOW! It works! THANKS A LOT!!! :D
some more info:
i use win2000 SP3 and modifying HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE don`t work for me :devil: ... So i just look into [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InterVideo\Common\AudioDec] and modify the same parameter :sly: ...
00000001 = Stereo
00000002 = DOLBY_SURROUNF
00000003 = 3D SOUND
