I need some drivers/tools that can flip my desktop picture top-bottom and left-right.
I have ATI RADEON card which drivers can't do that ... maybe there is some tool that can do that for DirectShow picture (which will be useable for any picture and video on screen) ?
Maybe some DSCaler filter can do that ?
I need that for making TV projection system and I don't want to turn my monitor upside down.

If you download the latest 'Control Panel' from the ATI website, you will get a tab titled 'Rotation' in the Advanced Display Properties.

One thing I noticed on a dual boot system I have with ATi Rage mobility (similar, but older) is only the Win2K version allows rotation. I assume XP has it as well, the other boot is 9x.

I just tested on my AIW Radeon with WinXP and Rotate 180 in the Rotation Tab seems to do what you want.

Thanks for tips ! I have Win98 and I will try (I hope it will work).
Also, is theer anyo "3rd party" tool that can tdo that or at least some DS filter (VobSub can flip horizontaly but not verticaly) ?

Update:
It works but it is useless :(
Ona my 1GHZ Pentium in "flipped picture mode" playback of DivX or anything is jerky and messed ... I mean, looks like overlay can't handle this mode well and playback is slow like there is no overlay while some video applications doesn't work at all ...
Anybody know some other solution which will work better ?
Also, would be nice if there is some TV IN playback software which can flip picture (DSCALER can't :( ) and some DirectShow filter (VOBSUB, as I said, can do it only horizontaly but not vertically) ...

You could make this a feature request for Gabest and WindowsMediaPlayerClassic (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29798&goto=lastpost)... it doesn't seem like it would be very hard to implement.

ffdshow can flip the video, but only upwards. You can also make a simple avs with rotate .TurnLeft(clip clip) or TurnRight(clip clip)
TurnLeft rotates the clip 90 degrees counterclock wise, and TurnRight rotates the clip 90 degrees clock wise.
