DVD2SVCD can't convert my AVI file's. When I start the whole process an error in TMPGEnc comes up saying...
TMPGEnc
"Read error occured at address 00403519 of module 'TMPGEnc.exe' with 2065682C."
How can I fix this problem? I get it all the time. I tried downloading VirtualDUB and following the instructions in the Q&A but that didn't seem to work either. What else can I do?
Thanks!

Then you probably didn't search good enough :)

This seems to indicate that your ram might be bad. you should perform some memory testing. Maybe try swapping some ram and see if you still get that error.

Sorry I guess I missed that...:D
I tried some memory testing and there were no errors and also tried swapping different RAM's...I have 384MB of RAM..but I still get the same error..
Any more ideas?
Thanks again!

doing something completely different, I got these errors a while back. I was playing with reading mpeg2 into tmpgenc (now solved) but these errors came up with a vfapi add-in, also have seen them with some codecs. So, check the vfapi priority order, and maybe search around the tmpgenc forum. Otherwise, reinstall the relevant codecs.
