sound problem is killin me

after encoding a file i burned it to disc and the sound run s out of sequence it played well on the computer out of sequece on the burned disc..i burned it with NERO at 8 speed..any suggestions as to why?

1) What are you burning? AVI? OGM? VCD? SVCD? XSVCD? DVD? (etc.)

2) What is your source video? MPEG-1? MPEG-2? MPEG-4 codec? Framerate? Resolution? (etc.)

3) What format is your source audio? MP2? MP3? PCM? (etc.)

4) What tools are you using, if any, other than Nero?

5) What release of those tools are you using?

6) Which Doom9 guide are you following? (Hint Hint.)

7) Does the problem with the disc occur on your PC, or on a set-top player?
