I did a few movie-only rips using CCE and maestro to reauthor. I also add two languages streams and 2 subtitles streams.
The problem is one substream is selected by default and i'd like not to have any subtitle displayed when the movie starts. How can I disable subtitles display by default in Maestro ?

when u r at the menu that the button is in, select it, click on the button tab(2nd from left) and make sure the subtitle tick box is not checked. Then go to the properties of the project and set the 'Initial Subttile' to Off.

Of course this is a procedure that u can use when u r authoring your own movie. When u r re-authoring is a complete different thing since u r providing onely the structure and u r using the original menus and commands. In this case u have to delv into ifoedit and seek the command that enables the subtitles in the original structure. Load the ifo of the movie, open PGCITI, select the movie pgc and go to the precommands. Find the command that starts the movie with subs and change it to start only
