I am using DVD Shrink 1.03 and followed the instructions from the Movie Only Guide posted on these forms. I used the movie only Guide and burned the movie on Pioneer A04 with Parrsi's burning software. The movie burned ok and when I installed it in my stand alone DVD player, this is what I got - a graphic that resembales file folder with the following - Menu and the box with type: ROOT (on the left side) and all the movie files names on the right side - VTS_01_1,VTS_01_2, VTS_01_3,VTS_01_5, VTS_01_5 with each file name a RED icon before the file name. You can nevigate through these files with your remote. Also there is a box at the bottom that says Play Mode.
My problem:
1. How do get rid of this from the DVD - I just want the movie to start?
2. When you skip chapters, I loose the Audio and have to go back to the above menu and start all over again to have the audio.
What am I doing wrong? Please HELP
Thanks.

I would suggest you didn't burn in DVD-Video mode. From what you describe, I can get the same if I burn in dvd-rom mode and play the disc in my Proline standalone player.
I don't know about Prassi, but maybe you should check that you correctly selected DVD-Video before burning.

Check out the burning with Prassi guide at this link:

You will have to register at the site to gain access to that link though. Hope this helps.

As this seems to be a problem with the burning rather than DVDShrink, I'm moving this thread to the DVD Burning forum.

Devanand,
Please refrain your irrepressible need for answers and don't crosspost (you posted the very same message in the "One click DVD backup solutions" forum). This is confusing for everybody including yourself since you are likely to miss some answers.
Don't ask what rule you violated, I don't know the numbers, but crossposting is not allowed. I won't crosspost myself and tell you the same thing in the other forum though :D

Waldok,
I see my problem as 2 fold. Is it the DVDShrink or is it the Parrisi doing it. If you have an answer for me, I will appericiate it, otherwise please Help me out with an answer.
Thanks.

I think I already suggested you may have burnt your DVD as a data disk instead of DVD-Video. Did you check this ?
Now no matter "how many folds" your problem is, you are not supposed to crosspost the exact same message in several forums.
Simply basic forum rules.
No personal feelings involved.
