is it ever a problem if you remove the fbi warnings and studio logo with ifoedit? like messing up the disc structure?

Not if you do it properly, i.e. follow Doom9's guides (http://www.doom9.org) and test everything with a DVD-RW before burning the final DVD-R.

Uhh...hakko504...some DVD players can't accept DVD*RWs.My Sony DVP-S300 just spits it out. :(

Thanks, I did not know that. Then my previous statement should read: If your DVD player accepts DVD±RW you should test with one of these discs first. Still it can be a good idea to try a RW disc even if it means playing it in the computer - if a SW player can't handle the disc then there is something wrong. Though SW players are usually more forgiving that HW players so if it works, you're not always safe anyway.
