Wow. A program that'll copy DVD-5s to a DVD-R. What an amazing accomplishment!

No wonder you have to pay $49.95 for it. This is such a wonderful thing to be able to copy a DVD5 to a DVDR...
(What's the name of the free software again that has been doing it for months ?? Uh yes, DVDDecryter, was it ? :D
Geee....Those money-makers....

Like waldok said all it can do is rip to .iso and burn the .iso (if it's DVD-5) which DVD Decrypter can do for free.
It'll will eventually do transcoding but for now save your $50.

"Planned features"
"Uses high-quality transcoding technology"
"...final release is expected at the end of May"

This is really a crack-up!!
I have some software that will copy FILES from one directory to another! I call it "CloneFile." Anyone interested? I can sell it real cheap too.

This is not the same as the CloneDVD package that is coming from Elby.ch (the makers of the respected CloneCD software.)
Elby's CloneDVD (http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_dvd/index.html)
This CloneDVD.net package just has the same name. Might be a copyright violation or something or maybe the CloneDVD.net people got to the name first. Either way, don't indict Elby for this fairly useless software.
(I reserve the right to be completely wrong.)

That really takes the cake! The name might be a rip off too?
I think I might change the name of my useless file copying software to "Windows XP" rather than "CloneFile" -- if you're going to break the rules lets go all the way!

Found these while surfing DVDRHelp.com (thanks to Timoleon)...
Firstly, the non elby CloneDVD software is now on Download.com
http://download.com.com/3000-2194-10197462.html?tag=lst-2-9/
Secondly, there's a new commercial DVD ripper in town called 1st DVD Ripper (http://www.1stdvdripper.com/) and you can get it for only $34.95! :D

1stdvdripper is nothing more than something like DVDX which is free. No where does it say it can do DVD to DVD. It can only do DVD to VCD or SVCD.
If your gonna do SVCDs I'd suggest stick with http://www.dvd2svcd.org
