Hello to all,
Initially I was bugged about the 5 day waiting period, but it makes sense now. I found a lot of stuff on my own.
I have used SmartRipper to extract a 5.1 AC3 track, now I need to know the proper settings for HeadAC3he to decode it to six discreet .wav files. I thought I had it set correctly based on the guide and the author's notes, but when I open the file with Cool Edit Pro I only get a single track mono file that will apparently take about 45 minutes to open (I did not open the whole thing yet, only the first 10% of it). btw, it took HeadAC3he almost 50 mins to decode the AC3 to .wav, so I didn't have time or HD space to experiment.
I assume that I would get six separate .wav files after HeadAC3he does it's thing, is that correct? Or (shudder) is it really one long .wav that needs to be split into six parts?
Anyway, I've used Brendan's great guide to get me rolling, if someone could post what changes to the settings he recommends, I would appreciate it.
thanks all,
Veech
