Anybody knows how I can load this into editing programs such as VirtualDub or convert it to any other format?

Well if you can play it in WMP then Avisynth is always an option. That is Microsoft proprietary MPEG4 version 2 codec BTW.

Oh yes!
Why didn't I think of that.
But I checked the docs and there's currently no audio support for DirectShowSource
But I'm gonna see if I can somehow demux the audio.

You need to download the mp43 codec, you can then load in vd or whatever. However if your using 2k or xp it'll delete itself on restart so you'll have to reinstall each time. The file you want is called mp4x.zip or simmiller and is around 150k

It is also included with Windows Media Codecs pack 8 which you can get from Microsoft in the Wndows Media department.
