Hi all, been using this site for a while now.... great site... very useful.. a have a question that I have been unable to find an answer for....

I had a workmate (lost contact with) who brought a cd in to work which played in a standard cd player (not mp3 compatible) but contained 99 FULL tracks of music.

The cd, when viewed on a pc, looked identical to a standard audio cd...

i.e.

track01.cda
track02.cda
... ...
track99.cda

anyone got any ideas as to how this was achieved??

:D

Very small tracks, less than 1 minute each? :P

I don't think so.... they were the full 3+ minute tracks...

I was thinking that maybe the audio quality had been dropped... but they did sound good quality....

I dunno!!

Impossible. No matter what you do to the audio, 1 minute of audio will always take the exact same space in CDDA. It's part of the Red Book specifications (44.100Hz, 16bit, Stereo)
