After a lot of different programs I want to try and use Virtualdub to capture video using my Sparkle Geforce 4 Ti4200 128 Mb videocard. I'm having some trouble setting it up:
- In the Capture Guide on doom9.org it says "In the frame size box you have to choose the appropriate resolution depending on your card (704-768 * 576). In my case (ATI Radeon) I choose 720*576. For Data format choose YUY2. Which data format you choose depends on your hardware. If YUY2 doesn't work, try another." I can't seem to find a resolution / data format anywhere near 720 x 576. Is there any way to find out which resolution / data format my card supports?
- I can't change the PAL options from Virtualdub and I have to switch them every time I record with any program! Is there any way to set PAL_G (I live in the Netherlands) as a standard, for instance in the Registry? Or change it in Virtualdub of course. Here's what the capture looks like now, obviously this is not right :)

If I start another program, in which I CAN set the PAL options, first and then Virtualdub it works, but I want to deinstall the other program as recording with it is crap anyway.
-edit-
In the meanwhile I've managed to figure out that 720 x 576 does work on my card, in YUVY or something like that, but I have to select it two times. This is weird but hey, if it works...
