Haven't tried the 4x flavour but every other Bulkpaq disc I've tried (original purple 1x and green 2x) have got to be the most crappy media out there - steer clear and fork out for some decent discs that you can rely on.
Verbatim 2x are going for £1.30 at the momet - geez, the lengths some people will go to to save 30p...
Why can no-one seem to accept there is a very basic rule with DVD-R media: cheap(almost always) = rubbish
These cheap (usually with fake IDs because they're not good enough to establish a good rep of their own) discs either won't burn at all or burn and rot after a few months.

I totally agree - like most things in life, You get what you pay for!, and I wouldn't insult my burner with a Princo, even if it was free! (see my remarks on the topic here):

Previous media purchased from Bulkpaq (Turquoise color with white label x2 media) never worked. Sent it back - piece of crap.
However the new media not one coaster yet (Touch wood). Made sure machine was in order, check cables drive position, firmware 121 etc.
Will let you know if I get any coasters though.

Yes, but if you burn 4.38 gigs on them, do they play ALL the way through on your standalone without skipping or jerkiness?
