View Full Version : Editing AC3

I've been looking through the forums and guides for a way to edit AC3.

All I need to do is make the track fade in to minimize some unwanted sound in the begining. The only way I can see to do this is to buy a plug in for Premiere. Sorry, it's not that big a problem that I want to throw $200.00 at it.

Does anyone know of a way to do what I'm looking for? I don't want to degrade the audio in the process. Just a simple fade in.

Thanks.

Only way I can think of would be to convert the AC3 to WAV using BeSweet, add the fade in to the WAV, then convert back to AC3, again with BeSweet.

BeSweet also has the option to just crop from the beginning of AC3 files if this is easier. I am referring to BeSweet GUI by the way, available here:

BeSweet (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Audio/BeSweetGUIv0.6b73.zip)

If the link doesn't work its in the download section of Doom9
