As anyone got an idea of that proggy that could be used to view your password if you draged the symbol or was it the cursor over the password ?

That one won't let you see your password in that grey box when your about to connect to the net, is there one that does this ?

I don't know ... try a google search for "recover dialup password" or sth like that ... http://lastbit.com/internet_password.asp would be one of the links you get.

"Stealit" also does the job (that is read masked passwords in Windows):
