How to read out Manufaturer-ID off DVD-R/RW

Hi,

how do I read-out the manufaturer-id from DVD-R and DVD-RWs to be sure which blank-media I'm using, if there are problems with these I wouldn't buy them anymore.
Is there a software for it ? What's the name of it ?

insert blank disc into dvd writer.

load dvd decrypter

select mode>iso>write

should tell you the manufacturer id in there.
