I've got several Problems with VDub and the Cinergy 400, based on the Philips SA7134 chipset:
1. Green Preview Window
2. In overlay, when 768*576 is set, the res is actually somewhat*288. That happens with all resolutions > *288
3. When VDub starts to capture(normal or compatibility mode doesn't matter) it gives me status 411 and doesn't record a frame!
This is the worst problem of all. I switched through every res., colorspace and capture codec to solve that. Not even the lower resolutions work!
My Hardware:
GF2Ultra
Athlon TB 1,3G
512 MB PC133
Terratec Cinergy 400
Terratec DMX XFire 1024
a fresh 80 GB ATA 100 Drive for Capture
My Software:
WinXP Prof SP1
DX9
Newest Drivers, BIOS, Firmware, etc.
VDub 1.4.13.0
I ran a clean install of WinXP and DX9, that didn't help.
I was able to solve at issue, by disabling overlay via registry(there was a post in the capturing forum where this was mentioned).
