I have a movie that is on Side A and Side B. I would like to combine
them to make a single side. I am having trouble getting this done. The steps I done to date are;

1. Ripped both sides with Dvddecrypter.
2. Copied side B VOB files into the directory with Side A VOB Files.
a. I renamed the Side B VOB files consecutively following Side A files.
3. Ran Ifoedit to create Ifo Files.
4. The internal VOB ID's in the VOB files are not resequenced.
5. Try to run DVD2one on the VOB files to reduce the size but DVD2one create a group of files the same size.

I am lost at this point on how to get the internal VOB ID's to get have the correct ID's. Or does it matter? And I do not understand why DVD2one is creating a set of files the same size as the originals.

I am new at this when it comes joining groups of files to make one.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions that anyone may have.

Thank You.

wrong section of the forum.

chkout ifoedit section. look for join vobs. lots of tips.

u need to rename the side B vobs as vts_01_001.vob, 002.vob etc. and use vobedit to "join". vob ID for the join should be 1 higher than the last vob id of side A. after the join, rename the vob files to be in sequence with side A vobs and do the ifoedit magic.

http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/Derrow/joinclip.html is the best guide i have come across so far.will cost u US$5 to access the guides but worth it - best way to learn a ton of things about DVD structures.
