Hi,
I have a Sony DRU500AX firmware 2.0e.
I normally change all the drive letters of CD/DVD drives to the highest one in case I add a HD then the letters won't change.
The drive letter was F: and I changed it to X: and after that Instantcopy didn't see my drive anymore. If I put it back to E: and disable and enable the drive then IC7 sees it again. Also when I mess around with Alcohol120% to add a drive suddenly IC7 doesn't see the drive anymore. Then I go to the devices and disable the Sony DRU500AX driver and enable it again and after that IC7 sees the drive again.
Does anybody have the same problem or know where it comes from? And more important: How to solve this?
WinXP (SP1 + all updates)
IC 7.0.1.119
Alcohol120% 1.4.2 (build 308)
Athlon XP 1700, 768 MB
Onboard IDE master1: WD 80gig SE slave1: IBM 40 gig, other master and slave empty.
PCI IDE Kouwell (Silicon Image 0680)master 1: Sony DRU500AX slave: empty, master2: Pioneer DVD117 slave2: Liteon 40125S
