I remember reading it somewhere long time ago... that Divx should uses less CPU resources when decoding compare to RV9.

However recently i have discover RV9 can actually be decoded on a PentiumII 366 while Divx can't.. ( Well the video is ok but the sounds seems to run faster than the video. And when i run it on my computer there is no problem at all. )

However recenlty i have realize the plain that RV9 can not be edited.... ( >_< )

( i know not many of you here uses RV9... coz not much anime fans here.... or some use xvid. )

Is this the case with your computer... or is there something wrong with Divx decoder??

Coz i am certain that divx should play pretty well on a Pentium 366....

A side notes.......... it is th 7th of April today.. any news on Nero Digital yet?? I am truly excited about this new codec.

This is old theme, many times discussed.

CPU power is not all, many thing depend from GF card, Motherboard, RAM and even from Sound card.

In lucky case you can watch DivX with smaller res. even on Pentium MMX 200 MHz.
