I created a separate VCD & SVCD disk of the same .avi movie, just for testing purposes.
The audio and video settings were also the same.
However, when I play back the disks in my DVD player (Philips LX8000SA) the VCD makes use of the DVD-player's Multichannel sound option, while SVCD plays only in stereo mode.
Could this be the problem of the player, or should I change some encoding settings?
