Used search but found no solution... :(
My problem is choppy ac3 sound in WIN2000. Some files are way more choppier than other but almost all movies contains some pauses in sound.
Well, I thoungt it is due to bad pre/int values, so I downloaded Avimux and made new file with default values of 250/500kB. Resuslt is precisely the same choppiness. Actually it doesent matter what values I put to pre/int in avimux because result will be always the same, only filesize changes.
Why is this?
The movie with choppy sound is Catch me if you can -ViTE, however file Catch me if you can - NiNJA has PERFECT sound.
I checked both iterleave values in WMP6.4 default wave device and in ViTE it is 96 and in NiNJA it is 64/32.
also I saved only ac3 file in avimux and sound was terrible!
Can somebody explain what the heck is going on here?
My Specs:
WIN2000 SP3
1300Mhz TB
Ati Radeon
Intervideo audio decoder (works best for me)
