I'm making a slide show presentation for my daughters Basketball team.
I've honed all the pics and ended up with somewhere around 120 pics.
Would like to make a VCD out of the presentation.
I've used EASY CD CREATOR 5 - PHOTO RELAY to generate a simple slide show with predefined transition effects.
In addition, I downloaded some GIF and plopped them into a POWERPOINT slide along with an MP3 to serve as a title page.
I'd like to capture the actual slide show (which runs about 10 minutes) and also the POWERPOINT presentation.
I grabbed a copy CAMATASIA studio which can record screen output but I guess I'm not using the correct codec because I loose frames.
I'm running AN AMD 1.6 with 512 DDR 266 FSB and a GEFORCE 2 U64(ddr).
CAMATASIA suggests turning off VIDEO HARDWARE ACCELERATION which I do and also to use their compression CODEC to preserve 100% quality.
I suppose I should use a COMPRESSIONLESS codec such as FULL FRAMES (they say no compression).
What seems reasonable for my FPS. I realize that it depends. The slides themselves obviously are static suggesting a pathetically low frame rate but the transitions sometimes get hairy.
Is there a better way of capturing screen data? ReinerSchweinlin above suggests avimszh but i can't figure out what that is. I assume he means Avisynth but I don't know where to begin using this as a scripting mechanism to something like VIRUTALDUB.
