Hi,

I'm using DoitFast4U version 1.1.1.0b and I'm having trouble with the subtitle color after compiling dvds with scenarist. The funny thing is that when I preview them in scenarist they appear fine, but when I compile the disc they are a different color than they were in the preview and original. I'm not so concerned about getting the original color but many times the subtitles are just unreadable because they are a color like black.

Is there a way to edit to change the subtitle color manually. I have tried using IFOEDIT to change the subtitle colors defined in the ifo file is the same as the original.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and know how to resolve it?

Thanks.

When using ifoupdate, make sure 'copy color table in each pgc' is checked, as well as 'copy audio and subtitle picture tables'.

I've got a similar problem at the moment. I'm trying to convert Bad Company (PAL, Region 4) with the "big 3" (DoItFast4U = 1.1.1.0c, ReAuthourist = 6.05 Beta, DoCCE4U = 1.0.0.5), and all the english subtitles are fine (black outline, white center as in original), but all other languages just have the black outling.

I set DIF4U to Vobsub all PGC's, and checked All angles. I haven't really had time to look at it yet to see at what point the subtitles change, I will do tonight when I get home from work. I don't know if any of my other conversons have ever had the same problem, the only reason I checked this DVD was becasue it had so many (11 subtitle streams in total from memory). Obviously this problem will never really effect me, it's just that I'm a bit fussy  .

*edit*

I used IFOUpdate .70 to get VTS sectors, and had options selected as Eyes`Only suggested above.

Ok, got a chance to slip home during my lunchbreak for a quick look at this problem. It seems the english BMP subtitle files created by VobSub (using version 2.23 I think) via DoItFast4U are different to all the other languages. The fact it doesn't have a problem with the english subtitles has thrown me, I have no idea what would be casuing this  . The only thing I can think of is that I didn't have autodetect subtitles/closed captioning ticked, but I would've thought manually selecting the vobsub tickbox, and setting it the dropdown list to all would've produced the same result?
