Hello All,

I have searched the archives and could not find an answer on this one.

Is is possible to get DoCCE4U to work with CCE Basic? I have tried running it and it does not seem to want to work with the Basic version.

Thanks for any help.

I would like to make DoCCE4U work with CCE Basic, unfortunately there are a couple of issue with it that make somewhat incompatible. For one thing, I've read that it only supports 2 Pass CBR and 1-2Pass VBR. Which makes the RoBa method not work properly. Also, it only supports automatic chapter points. Which means you cannot include your own chapter list in the encode.

Understandable, but nevertheless, I have bought CCE Basic because I cant afford $1900 for their other software and I dont want the CEE logo to end up on my encoded video - The only versions of CCE SP that I could find were trial versions and didnt offer a way of purchasing that I could find and that would not cost me $2K - So what is the solution to this problem for those of us that have purchased CCE Basic?

Is there a way to use the "Big3" guide without having to use DoCEE4U? and possibly get a guide to show us how to go through the motions of using the "Big3" guide while using CCE Basic instead of CCE SP? That would be incredbily ideal - I have beenusing the so-called "One-Click" methods because I've been backing up stuff for the kids mostly, and dont really care too much about the quality difference, but It would be nice to be able to use the quality method described in Big3 - Especially since I've purchased a licens for it - I just dont know how to use it otherwise.

Thanks all - ghspider@netzero.net
