No kidding.

I downloaded DoItFast4U to take a look at, the latest version, and was getting a few odd crashes on my system (Win 98SE) so thought I'd uninstall it to see if it was the cause of them or not.

Go to the start menu to see if it came with an un-install menu option, no it didn't. Okay fair enough, went to add/remove programs via control panel, selected "DoItFast4U (remove only)", and what comes up ....... "un-installing The Sims Online"......!!!!!!!

And no I didn't select the wrong one by accident. Going back to add/remove programs, "DoItFast4U (remove only) was still listed, but when selecting it Windows reports it cannot remove it and would I like to remove the item from the view of add/remove programs.

So it was definately DoItFast4U that un-installed it. For some reason it loaded the wrong un-installer. Now I don't play The Sims Online I bought it as a present for my girlfriend who has been playing it for months - she is going to be pxssed!!!!!!!

Which makes me pxssed! Now I don't care if this program is great or crap I'm never going to try it to find out!

Thank you and goodnight.

New feature of DoItFast4U, "SaveSocialLife4U" that uninstalls any MMORPGs on your system? :D

Sorry, your strange error is just terribly funny for some reason, hehe.

With all due respect Scott the Chicken, I also find it pretty funny.
Relax, after all this is only a game...Now you will discover you can do much more interesting things with your GF than playing the Sims...Time for real life :D
You should thank Eyes'Only for this.

Eyes, what about presenting DIF4U as "the only DVD software that will bring your GF back to bed ;-)"

Besides, DIF4U is great. If you are still more interested in DVD than the Sims, you'll agree with it :)

HAve fun :)

If this is a legit post, the only think I can think of is that one of your hdd sectors got 'cross-referenced' with another sector. If it's a late April Fools joke, then touche!

(The responses from the happy users of DoItFast4U! say the rest!)

Hi y'all.

(No, it wasn't an April Fool!)

Anyhow apologies for the outburst, it happened right before I was going to bed and it freaked me right out. The only explanation must have been something at my end like cross-linked files, I assume. Oh well! Out of everything that is on my PC that was like the worse thing something could go wrong with! The Sims and The Sims Online have always been the bane of my existance, I hate them all, but whatdaya gonna do....

But, it seems to have re-installed okay so hopefully she'll never be the wiser (hope saved sims are all on the sims server, erk!.........)
