I opened a bug about this a couple weeks ago on Sourceforge but was curious that no one had mentioned it here anywhere that I can find. So maybe it's just me.
Under Win/Me encoding Xvid with ac3 direct stream copy it seems the max segment size is pretty much ignored. This causes my HDTV encodings to crash at a 4 GB output file size.
Is it just me? Does Save Segmented AVI seem to work for anyone? Is there a trick to it?
I've used it successfully in previous releases of Vdub but not VirtualdubMod.
And can AVI's be > 4 GB if I switched to Win/XP or W2K? I guess then it wouldn't matter.
