I have a excellent copy downloaded of a dvd rip. picture perfect and sound spot but no matter what I do the screen size is always letter box and "tiny". I have tried all I can think off plse help before I go blind! lol

this is normal, you probably have a 2,35:1 movie like most hollywood productions (don't ever say it is downloaded btw, always say you got it from a friend or something, to trick jggimi, he's always tracking such posts like yours :D)

He is required to keep anything that could reasonably link us to illegal activities away, it is his and all the other moderators' job to implement the forum rules.
You may not realize that he's doing you a service by doing that. Do not underestimate the power of the companies that do not approve of what we're doing here (process DVD sources and such). The less you talk about specific movies or where your sources are from the less trouble will we get in. You do not want this community to be shut down, do you?
Bottom line: if there's reason to believe that you're doing something illegal you won't get any help (unless you consider giving you a rule6 strike as a warning help).

I took DJBobo's comment as a joke and not an insult to jggimi, but I see where your concern comes from. jggimi was just doing his job as a mod, and it's important to remind the newer members not to mention where there sources came from, so I suggest someone place that Sticky in the Newbies Forum more than in the SVCD Forum.
