Going nuts over this problem.
I ripped the .wav out from a divx movie that contains ac3 encoded audio, saved it from virtualdub to .ac3.
Then I encoded it with BeSweet GUI so I ended up with a .wav (Dolby Digital wav), but when I open the final .wav file from
"Sonic Foundry´s Soft Encode 1.0" there is 6 channels but only the first two (left & right) contains anything. The other four is blank!
What´s the problem?
Is it virtualdub that can´t actually save the ac3 correct?
Do I have to use another program to rip out the ac3?
Another thing I´m wondering about is...
Is there any easy way to convert a plain 2channel audio file to a 5.1 channel? And with easy I mean GUI programs like HeadAc3 or BeSweet?
I really want 5.1 channels sound in the movies that I burn that don´t have .ac3 encoded from the start.
Please, can anyone help me!?
