I just wanted to know if it's planned (or possible) to port besweet to linux since it's a command line utility.

I was trying to convince the Gstreame people once to make a BeSweet audio handling plugin ... the problem here is, these guys are REAL Linux zealots and simply can not imagine there is good software for Windows ;) ...

It's your software to do with as you please, and I wouldn't presume to try to tell you what to do with it. Having said that, if you do want to see a linux port you could just open it up. Seems whenever a closed project gets opened a linux port pops up rather quickly. Again, please don't take this as criticism or pro-opensource rhetoric. Just pointing out an option.
