small problem !!!not sure it's the right place to post!!!

my problem is a strange 1 (2 me ne way) i have got some back-up's that i have backed-up a few time's but 4 some reson now certian 1's now wont even start!!!!
the 1s i have a problem with r on silver dvd-r's,,,not got a problem, with ne of my other 1's
i have cleaned the lazer ,,,
i have tried other program's,,,
i have even reinstalled them but still no go
the writer is only 5 month old (a04)

plz ne 1 shed ne light on this 1

can you explore the dvd in explorer? or doesit spin up and then stop? please give specification i.e software/hardware/OS are you palying this on a standalone palyer? or with a software player like power dvd? have you reinstalled your os?

If you cant play them on your stand alone , and they did before then it would have to be the dvd's .If you cant see it in windows then the dvd must be damaged , i remember this happend to me on some VERY cheap cd's :mad: :( sadly i don't know of software that can retrieve data on a cd that wont even register in windows :confused: maybe they do exsist . are the cd's badly scratched? hope this helped a bit.
