Hi all,

I am currently using DoItFast4U 1.1.0.0c , DoCCE4U 1.0.0.6 and CCE 2.66.01.07 on Windows XP Pro.

I am trying to backup Coyote Ugly and while DoItFast4u seems to run through its process with no errors, when it then opens up DoCCE4U I get the following message.

AVI Error: could not load "D:\COYOTE\VTS01\VTS__01_P01.16~9_1.AVS"

The above file path is correct and the file does actually exist within the above directory.

I have tried loading the CCEData file manually and still get the same error.

I do not want any subtitles and therefore unchecked the streams within DoItFast4U although this probably has nothing to do with the error.

Please help as I have no idea as to the possible problem.

Thanks,

Rigsby

hmm.. I was kinda under the impression dc4u still required cce 2.50.. also make sure you use the latest version of dc4u which you aren't (1.0.0.7 is the latest) then give it another shot.

All of the avi errors I've seen so far are caused by the fact that users don't have avisynth installed. DoItFast4U creates avs files, which are not real avi files, but script files. Avisynth must be installed in order to open them.

Avisynth can be downloaded at http://www.sourceforge.net

Have now installed Avisynth and the problem has disappeared.

Thanks everyone for all your help. Much appreciated.

Until next time.

hi TjokkePrii and welcome to the forum.

you might get a better response if you post the actual error you are receiving and any trouble-shooting you have so far tried.
also describing your methodology in how you arrived at the error would also be of benefit.

I used the tutorial on Doom9: using Scenarist NT & the big 3 (DoItFast4U, DoCCE4U & ReAuthorist).
When DoItfast4U finishes ReAuthorist starts automaically. Then I press encode and DoCCE4U gets started and this message appears:

okay, well i am not sure why you would be getting those error messages but could you please try two things.
open DoCCE4U manually, clear all jobs, and then go to the menu and select 'file', 'load file list' and navigate to your directory and select the 'CCEData.txt' and see if you get any errors.
if this works/fails clear the job list again and also try to load the 'ReAuthorist_NewCCEData.txt'
you can also try to load the avisynth scripts into CCE manually and see if you get any errors.

I get the same errors if I load up those files in DoCCE4U manually.
When I load an avs script in CCE SP it says: AVIFileInfo: Unknown Error.

When I convert the d2v files with VFAPI Converter DoCCE4U still cannot open them but I CAN open them manually with CCE SP

A little step forward.
I installed proxyoff.reg and used vfapi converter on the files again and I now CAN import them into DoCCE4U.
I edited the CCE.txt and I imported all my files into DoCCE4U and it is currently processing my files.
I still rather use the avisynth way but then we have to find out why DOCCE4U can't import avs scripts.
