how to integrate subtitles on a DVD doesn't contain any ?

i would like make a DVD with subtitle but the source don't have any so
how use and convert sub ssa to a DVD sub format and etablish interface like DVD with sub

u can author the title with subs, ifoupdate as usual and then open the ifo, go to the PGCITI and insert the following code for subtitle 1 -2147483648. The code mentioned would enable the 1st subtitle stream for a 16:9 or 4:3 movie.
