bit of a clart on but it's done :D
I thought the skipping described previously would be the multiangles and it was
I tried all sorts to get it to work using Ifoupdate etc. Some were completely messed up but the best I got was that everytime it got to the bit 'Welcome to the Real World' 33mins 54 secs it froze and same ith the beginning of the other chapters after the White Rabbit chapters!., which I had in the beginning
if you scan through the movie you can see all the chapters that have white rabbits have the same time through that chapter, so this told me it was not recognising the chapter properly
blah blah blah, cos I can't be bothered to explain the whole mumbo jumbo
so basically I checked the VOB's that IC produced and checked the original VOB's and they were identical in content, so it was all down to the IFO's
tried numerous methods to try and fix them cos there is probably a way but got sick in the end so I thought I'd tried something completly different
so the simple answer is I demuxed the video from the IC VOB's and remuxed the resulting .m2v file using the orginal IFO and basically that's it
everything works including white rabbit
just thought I'd let you know :D
p.s. I'm sure one of the Ifoedit experts may be able to find an easier way to fix the IFO's or explain why the new VOB's have an extra 10MB and what this would be
