I've spent a ton of time on this one (3 days now) and I just can't seem to get it.
I've ripped the widescreen version and want to can the fullscreen version. I've done this without a problem except for bypassing the aspect ratio screen. When I click play from the main menu on my set top boxes it hangs (aspect ratio menu is supposed to come up). I've watched the GPRegs, and when you disable the menu they change to what they're supposed to on their own. It plays and works on PowerDVD and in IFOEdit. Just not on the set tops.
I've resorted to leaving the menu in and disabling the fullscreen option on the menu for now until I can figure a way to full bypass it.
Has anyone done this and if they have would you care to share? :-)
