Amplifing volume with VBR

I got a movie and de audio track is not so amplified. When I open that movie on Virtual Dub, he says my audio track is a VBR mp3. Where can I amplify this and and VBR it again to mux with my AVI again?

Okay, I have used MP3Gain and now I have a delay on the video with audio. There is a way to fix that without use the VDub?

you have a delay because you amplified with mp3gain?!

If yes, try mp3trim

If that doesn't help, you're probably muxing the wrong way, you should use VirtualDubMod and load the mp3 under VBR MP3. Don't change any interleave/preload/delay settings while muxing.
