A Question for 2COOL

I think you might be the only one who can give me handy informantion on this matter ;) ...

I've been doing a DVD backup for a movie which contain only one VTS and 10 PGC's inside it ... PGC1 for the main movie ... PGC2 for the logo ... PGC3-PGC10 for the trailers ... my problem now is with PGC10 the last trailer ... When you play the DVD you'll see the logo at first ... and then a menu with 3 options : Play the movie, Subtitles and Trailers ... first 2 options are OK ... for the third option you'll enter another menu with 8 trailers ... and at the end of this menu you can choose to get back to "Main Menu" ... now when I choose any of the trailers and play it ... it play ok ... and then I can hit "Main Menu" and go back to "Main Menu" ... but when it comes to the last trailer ... hence PGC10 ... it will play ok ... but when I try to hit "Main Menu" ... nothing will happen ... as if you didn't press anything :confused: ... but if I tried to play another trailer ... and then tried to hit "Main Menu" ... it will go back ... to "Main Menu" ... Strange isn't it :p ... I want to know if there is a way to solve this problem ... Thanks in advance ...

I would like to inquire on what your commands are for your PGC_10 and also for one of your working ones like PGC_9. Go to your VTS_*_0.IFO / VTS_PGCITI / VTS_PGC_? / PGC Command Table. Press your Copy2ClipBoard button and paste your info into a word processor. Highlight and select all of your commands and copy & paste it in your post reply. Do it for both PGC_9 and PGC_10.

If you said that pressing your Main Menu button works after PGC_9 goes back to the Trailer Menu when done, what happens when you hexedit your PGC_10's Post Command #1? Do that by double left clicking on line, clicking in your hexedit module, and entering value.

OLD > 1.Post Command Set GPreg<8> mov (set-val)<9> [71 00 00 08 00 09 00 00 ]

Everything works fine now ... but if you excuse me ... I wanna be a little bit greedy and ask u how u thought about this ... coz I reviewed the original ifo file ... and it has the same structure ... do u suggest that something happened during authoring the DVD with Scenarist ... or when I used ifoupdate ... and again thanks for ur efforts ;) ...

I don't think IFOupdate would've caused your problem and I don't know or use Scenarist. I assumed that you were just backing up your DVD without authoring and I thought it was strange that only one of your trailers gave you problems. My theory is what you did in Scenarist.
