I was wondering if someone could tell me how to input my multichannel wavs into Sorenson Squeeze Suite. I was under the impression that it was possible to do this since the fraunhofer aac codec is supposed to do up to like 48 channels however, I have six wav files sitting on my hard drive now and it seems that it will only let me input them one at a time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, well I have looked through the manual and the entire program and it doesn't seem to be able to do this unfortunately, and yes I know I can encode in Nero or Pystel. I just want to play with the fraunhofer codec.

Where did you get the Fraunhofer AAC codec? I think many guys at HA would kill for getting their hands on that codec.
By the way, Nero still can't encode multichannel AAC, the thing is, the plugin can (Ivan Dimkovic's AAC encoder), but the plugin manager can't read multichannel WAV files.

I have posted a thread about Sorenson Compression Suite 3 at HA.

The guys told me that it is indeed the professional Fhg AAC codec, but seriously crippled.

Yeah, it is too bad, there does seem to be no vbr or multichannel and the bitrate only goes up to 128kbps. I think this is the consumer version of fraunhofer's codec so it isn't better than Nero since lots of things are missing. :(
