DVD-DeCrypter,Flask & Xmpeg all not playing game,help please?

Hi there,
I have recently re-formatted my HD before which I could run DVD-DeCrypter,FlaskMpeg & Xmpeg no problem at all.
Now I have just unzipped DVD-Decrypter and run it,ok the first time it threw a no ASPI error at me but after installing the correct aspi layers and running AspiChecker that is ok but now DVD-Decrypter isn't recognizing my DVD drive (Pioneer x16 BVD316B)!,with "No Devices Detected" diplayed in the 'Source' box..

The worrying thing is,if I try to run any version of FlaskMpeg or Xmpeg it lets me choose the vobs but when I hit 'FlaskIt'(or whatever?)it does nothing and just shuts down,not the puter,the prog.

Not that that is my immediate problem,I have to get the vobs onto my HD first which is where DVD-Decrypter comes in,anyone any ideas?.

My Aspi layers are all present & correct
XP Pro/SP1
Pioneer x16 BVD316B
The dvd it is happening with was StarWars:Attack of the Clones Disc-1,I don't have any others at this location right now and it's 3.30am :(

You shouldnt even be using ASPI. SPTI is default on XP machines and should find your drive just fine.

It did.It used to and now isn't,Thanks for ALL your help!!!!

Seriously though,it was via the 'help yourself' system on Doom9 that I was directed to the DVD Decrypter site and went through the FAQ's,Help etc

I don't mean to sound offhand but when I have a problem the first few places I look are always the help files , the homepage of the utility I'm having bother with and the forums.
If I still can't find what I'm looking for then I'll post on the forums.

Problem
I have installed the Adaptec ASPI manager but DVD Decrypter can't find my drive(s).

Solution
Click on the windows 'Start' button.
Click 'Run'.
Type 'Regedit' and then click the 'Ok' button.
Within the 'Regedit' program, navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Aspi32\Parameters

Using the context menu (right mouse button menu), create a new 'String' value called 'ExcludeMiniports'
If it already existed, ensure its 'Data' value' is empty.
Reboot your machine.

If that doesn't work, try installing the Nero ASPI manager.
