Hi!

I'm doing my own dvd with my own menu, everything works fine but something that bothers me is that my menu is muxed with the main vts set, not like on commercial dvd's where the menu is VTS_01_0.VOB.

I'm using scenarist, and I've tryed diffrent ways to author the movie but no success. I have no problem watching the movie or menu but I'd rather be on the safe side and use the same layout as commercial dvds.

Can anyone help me out on this?

(note: the menu now is somewhere within the VTS_01_1.VOB file.)

I use Scenarist and my menu's show up as VTS_01_0.vob. Do you use a Language folder, or do you just put your menu in the same VTS as your movie?

Well, I'm using a menu script thet I made with ReelDVD and imported it to Scenarist. Then I import the m2v, ac3 and subs into scenarist as usual, then in the dvd layout I "connect" the movie with the menu.
I could make a new vts for the movie but then the menu and the movie wouldn't be in the same vts set right? (like menu in VTS_01_1.VOB and movie in VTS_02_1.VOB.)

I guess I'm "connecting" the movie and the menu from wrong spots, any ideas?

Sorry I meant to ask if you put it as a title under your current VTS.

Right click on your VTS folder and select "Add Language". Then either copy your menu to there or create a new one. Make sure your buttons are correct and the first PGC is linked and you are all set. This will make it a root menu that you can navigate to on your remote by pressing "menu" and it will also make it in it's own VOB in the title set.

the way reeldvd works is the problem, it will add menus in as a separate chapter.
