IFO Edit FAQ/Guide?

Is there a guide that will take me through a .IFO file and explain what everything does?

In particular, I'm interested in fully understanding how Pre/Post commands work, as well as all the jump commands like Link PGC x, LinkTailPGC, Jump to, etc. I'd also like to understand how buttons and menu selections are used in these commands. I see referenced to buttons, but I can't figure out the syntax and how it affects the code path.

I'm trying work out a problem with My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I'd like to understand what all these things mean so that I can get a handle on what this dvd is doing.

Thanks for any tips, pointers, guides, or faqs anyone can throw at me.

2cools guides and "cheat sheets" (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43142) have helped me alot
they dont dont describe every thing since the dvds are not all the same but they are great reading
plus if you get stuck im sure he will help he always has

When I first used IFOedit, I too wanted to know what the commands did and what their definitions were all about. mpucoder's site is helpful but as a newbie, it can be like REECYCUP stated, "over my head". I wanted to start slow in my learning and gradually try to become one with the navigations.

When I went to the bookstore, there were two books that were helpful in teaching me what I wanted to know. One was DVD Demystified (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0071350268/102-0757916-6896925?vi=glance) and the other was DVD Authoring and Production (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1578200822/qid=1048889791/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-0757916-6896925?v=glance&s=books). Both are very good investments but I chose to buy DVD Authoring & Production that day as I felt it was the one for me.
