I burnt a movie on a DataWrite DVD using RecordNow Max 4.5 and my Sony DRU500A. The disc worked flawlessly on my PC and standalone pioneer dvd player. However, when I lent it to a friend who tried it in his Denon and Sony standalones it refused to play. He got a message along the lines of a dirty disc???
He then gave me a Ritek G03 disc that he uses on his Apple Mac and he knows works on his standalones. I burnt him a copy and this too refuse to play on his standalone machines. He then maded a direct copy of both discs himself on his Apple Mac and the copies he did work fine???
This has left me somewhat puzzled. I can only concluded that the software I'm using to burn is not burning a fully compliant DVD Video.
After reading similar posts in this forum it does seem that RecordNow Max 4.5 may be the culprit. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
I tend to drop the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders onto RecordNow some say creating an image before hand may improve compatibility. If so what should I use to create the iso?
